Southwestern Ontario Marketing Alliance (SOMA)
The Southwestern Ontario Marketing Alliance (SOMA), is a partnership of Southwestern Ontario communities, grown out of natural economic ties. This region, known as Canada’s Industrial Heartland, encompasses the municipalities of Ingersoll, Perth County, Stratford, St. Thomas, Tillsonburg, and Woodstock. It stretches across Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford and Perth counties.
SOMA works with all levels of government and the private sector to promote the advantages of locating within the region. SOMA and its partners offer a number of services to companies looking to grow within the region including:

- Economic development services
- Development and sale of industrial land
Ontario Manufacturing Communities Alliance (OMCA)
The Ontario Manufacturing Communities Alliance is a partnership of economic development organizations, committed to bringing new business opportunities to the Ontario (Canada) manufacturing sector.
OMCA works across the province to research locations that offer your business that most strategic fit. Our goal is to help you make the best decisions for the growth and prosperity of your business.
The Ontario Food Cluster attracts international investment to its thriving cluster of 3,000 food and beverage companies. Ontario is one of North America’s largest agri-food sectors. Companies locate here because they are close to more than 200 agricultural commodities and a market of 460 million consumers. Ingersoll is a member of OFC through the Southwestern Ontario Marketing Alliance.
Economic Development Council of Ontario (EDCO) Investment Alliance
The EDCO Investment Alliance is a partnership of government and economic development organizations in Ontario dedicated to promoting real estate investment opportunities in their communities in an international marketplace. Ingersoll is a member of the EDCO Investment Alliance through the Southwestern Ontario Marketing Alliance.
